Looking fabulous inside a space that looks fabulous? Bliss.
We’re showcasing three unique Oklahoma spaces in the hair and beauty category with our series Hair or There. Today our feature is on Dry Shop Blow-dry Bar and Boutique, owned by Emily Frosaker and designed by Fitzsimmons Architecture. Check out Emily’s tour and then go treat yourself to a blow out and shopping. (You can also eat a big honkin’ waffle next door.)
So when people ask “why would you create a place to just get your hair blow-dried?”
Those of us who know – just smile.
Because you won’t have to ask why, after you try.
And those comfy sweats sound divine.

From Fitzsimmons Architecture:
We wanted to really reflect Emily’s personality and vision and make sure the Dry Shop fit her tag line: Look Like You Mean It!
Bold graphics and shapes, furniture, fabrics and color were combined to bring life to the raw space. The form of the hot pink bar is quite functional yet creates a fun, exciting element for your eye to follow through the shop. The brightly colored wall invokes an image of hair – some standard colors and some when you’re feeling funky.
Next Wednesday we’ll feature our second Hair or There spotlight. What’s your favorite part of the shop? Let us know in comments and please share the love by clicking on the social media share buttons.
